New Born Baby Found Dead Inside Plastic Bag In Assam's Goroimari Area

Goroimari: In a shocking incident, a new baby was found dead inside a platic bag on Wednesday which was dumped near Kalatali Bridge in Dakshin Kamrup's Goroimari area.

Reportedly, the dead body of baby wrapped inside a plastic bag was first seen by the locals of that area.

After getting foul smell from the plastic bag, the locals apprised the police of the same and a police team from Jurshimuli Police Station reached the spot and recovered the body.

The police team after recording statements of the people there sent the body to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for post-mortem.

The police have started investigating the case and are on the lookout for the baby's parents.
